Step 1: Select the region you want to modify.
Make sure you have the mesh you want to modify selected in the top right of your screen. It will be highlighted in blue.
Click the [Select Region] tool.
For a global modification: Click [Select All].
For specific levels: Toggle the [Circumferential Selection] and select area on the mesh.
**Useful for doing proximal/distal sections**
For specific areas: Select any area on the mesh you want to modify.
**Useful for leaving problem areas alone***
Step 2: Modify the selected region.
Click the [Modify Region] tool.
Type in the amount you wish to modify and hit the 'Tab' key (this locks in the amount).

Select the [Rigid] option.
**Toggle the [Lock Z] option depending on whether or not you want to reduce the length too**
Click [Modify].
Step 3: Blend as needed.
Click the [Blend] tool and smooth any areas you want.
