The first step in the Clean Scan Phase is to scale your scan. You do not need to scale if you are using the structure scanner with our Design Studio Scanner iPad App.
How to scale a scan from another scanner?
The Design Studio works with a default unit of centimeters. If you are not using our iPad app, you may need to scale up or down depending on your scanner.
A good way to tell if your scan is too large or small is to see the size of your scan relative to the grid. The scan should be proportionally scaled to the grid, see screenshot below:
The grid is exactly 1 meter x 1 meter. Zoom in and out to get a better look. If you need help, message us via the blue avatar on lower right corner.
