Sometimes our scan-processing algorithm will import multiple parts of your scan into the modeler. Here's how to remove the extra pieces.

There are times when our scan processor will cleanup your scan, but is unable to differentiate the patient's limb from the table or the floor. You might end up with something like this:

Look on the right side of the Design Studio where the object names are listed. If you have more than one object names, your scan processed extra pieces. In the example above, you can see that there are three distinct scans - one being the patients limb, and two being extraneous objects.

How do I remove everything but the patient's limb?

Easy! Whichever scan is "selected" is outlined in blue and has a blue highlight in the list of objects:

Click on the scan that you don't want, in this case, "Scan 3", and choose the option that says "Delete":

Repeat this process with Scan 2 (in this case), and you'll end up with:

Now, to get the model back to the center of the frame and to get it mostly aligned, click on the "Align" tool and click "Auto-Align":

From there, use the Align tool and proceed through the Clean Scan step as you normally would! (check the help center for this video as well!)
